STEVE LIVINGSTON

Steve Livingston, 84, passed away Tuesday, January 19, 2010, in Kalamazoo, Michigan. He was born October 31, 1925 in Martin, Michigan. He was a lifelong resident of the area.
Steve served his country in the United States Navy during World War II. He was a life member of the Disabled American Veterans.
For several years he was employed with Allied Paper mill, and then for 28 years, he was employed with Consumers Energy. He retired in 1981.
Steve was an avid softball player all of his life and had played as late as the summer of 2009 on the Battle Creek Senior Team. He also had played on many men's softball teams in the area.
Steve and his wife Shirley had lived at Pine Lake since building their house there in 1957. For 24 years they wintered in Florida. He was a member of the Winter Haven Senior Softball Club since joining in the late 1980s. He last played during the 2006 season.
Steve is survived by his wife Shirley Bushee. Also surviving are his daughter, two grandsons, two sisters, and many nieces and nephews.
